SMS Terms
Last updated October 10, 2026
These terms explain the text messages that come from JobsiteBooked or through our software, how you agree to get them and how to stop them. They work alongside our privacy policy and terms of service.
Two kinds of texts
Texts from JobsiteBooked. If you ask about our services or book a call with us, and agree to get texts, we text you about it. That can include confirming and reminding you about your call, answering your questions and following up about our services for contractors.
Texts from your contractor. Contractors use JobsiteBooked's software to text their own customers. These texts come from your contractor and can include appointment reminders and confirmations, arrival times, estimate and invoice links, a text back when the contractor misses your call, requests to review the contractor, and follow-up messages. Your contractor decides what to send and when. We provide the software that sends them.
How you agree to get texts
For JobsiteBooked texts, you agree when you give us your mobile number on our website, when you book a call or when you talk with us, and tell us it's okay to text you. If you text us first, we'll text you back about your question.
For contractor texts, your contractor is responsible for getting your consent, for example when you book an appointment, fill out a form, or call or text the contractor. Contractors using our software agree to text only people who've given the consent the law requires.
When you give a mobile number, you confirm it's yours or that you're allowed to use it.
Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything. You don't have to agree to texts to buy anything from JobsiteBooked, and contractors using our software can't make marketing texts a condition of service or of buying anything.
How often you'll get texts
Message frequency varies. It depends on things like your appointments, your conversations with us or your contractor, and the follow-ups you've agreed to.
What texts cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's normal rates apply to texts you send and receive. We don't charge you anything to get these texts.
How to stop texts
Reply STOP to any text to stop getting texts from that sender. You can also reply END, CANCEL, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE, or let the sender know in any other reasonable way, such as by email or phone. You'll get one text confirming you've been unsubscribed, and then no more texts from that sender unless you sign up again.
Stopping texts from one contractor doesn't stop texts from another contractor or from JobsiteBooked, and stopping JobsiteBooked texts doesn't stop texts from your contractor. To start getting texts again, reply START.
Getting help
Reply HELP to any text for help. You can also email us at hello@jobsitebooked.com. For questions about texts from your contractor, you can also contact the contractor directly.
Delayed or missed texts
Carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can be late or not arrive for reasons outside our control, such as your coverage, your phone or your carrier.
Your privacy
We use your mobile number and texting consent as described in our privacy policy. We don't share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.
Texts from your contractor are also covered by the contractor's own privacy notice.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
