Estimates
The measure's done and the quote waits for the weekend. Copy a saved estimate, change the square feet and send it that night.
- Add-ons: stairs, haul-away and furniture moves, each priced
- Expiry: the quote lapses on your date, renewed in one click
- Owner-only margin: your installers never see the cost

Land the job
Online booking
Measure requests arrive as late texts with no address. Homeowners book a measure in your open slots, or send room photos first.
- Measure slots: booked online into the times you keep free
- Request form: room photos, the old floor and good times
- Round robin: measures shared between you and your salesperson

Land the job
Review requests
Homeowners weigh your stars against the big-box store's. Every closed job sends the homeowner your Google review link the next day.
- Day after: an email with your review link
- Three days on: a text to remind them
- Home dashboard: your Google review count at a glance

Marketing
Last year's customers did the living room and skipped the bedrooms. Offer them the rest of the house by email or one bulk text.
- Tags: carpet, hardwood and refinish customers
- Bulk text: a spring offer to everyone whose floor you laid
- Lead sources: whether referrals or Google sent each measure

Land the job
Website
Homeowners browse floors at 10 PM and book whoever lets them. We build your website, with measure booking on it, as part of setup.
- Measure booking: open slots, picked from your site
- Website chat: replies from your phone on the jobsite
- AI front desk: answers the late chat and books the measure

Run the job
Scheduling
A backorder pushes Tuesday's install, and Wednesday's after it. Drag each one to its new day, or hand it to another installer.
- Two installers: both on the stair job
- Map: the day's measures, nearest first
- Arrival windows: 8 to 10, not sometime Monday

Run the job
Crew app
Installers call to ask which rooms get the oak. Each one's phone holds the rooms, the product notes and the gate code.
- Checklist: moisture reading, acclimation, expansion gap
- Extras on site: an added threshold or stair nose as a line
- On my way: the homeowner gets the ETA by text

Run the job
Job photos
Boards cup six months on, and the manufacturer blames the install. Photograph the moisture reading and subfloor, then send the inspector one report.
- Tagged: the bare subfloor, the boxes acclimating, the finished room
- No bars: Android saves basement photos and uploads them later
- Photo report: one PDF or link for the inspector or homeowner

Run the job
Time tracking
A two-day install ran four, and nobody wrote down why. Installers clock in and out of each visit, and the visit note says what held them up.
- Visit notes: a second pour of self-leveler, a slow staircase
- Job profit: each install's hours counted at your labor rate
- Payroll file: approved hours, downloaded as a CSV

Run the job
Integrations
Your salesperson books measures in a calendar the installers never see. Measures now sync both ways with the office's Google Calendar. Installers see their jobs on the crew page.
- Google Calendar: two-way, so the office sees every measure
- Gmail or Outlook: homeowner email in the inbox, both ways
- Zapier: links in the tools JobsiteBooked doesn't cover

Bill the job
Invoicing
The last coat goes on Friday, and the bill waits till Monday. Make the final invoice from the job that day, deposit already off.
- Less deposit: the balance, not the whole job
- Reminders: an email on the due day, then every 3 days overdue
- Late fee: added to overdue invoices if you set one

Bill the job
Payments
Final payments wait on the homeowner finding the checkbook. A pay-by-card link goes with every invoice, by text and email.
- Deposit: paid by card after they sign, before you order the plank
- US bank payments: for the big hardwood balance
- Portal: any unpaid invoice, paid from their login

Bill the job
Expenses
Self-leveler, pad and a dumpster eat the margin without anyone seeing. Enter each receipt against its job on the office computer, photo attached.
- Dumpster: the haul-away bill counted against that tear-out
- Underlayment and pad: on the job they went under
- Job profit: material and dumpster set against the price

Bill the job
QuickBooks sync
Typing each final payment into QuickBooks a second time. Sent invoices, payments and customers go to QuickBooks Online instead.
- Customers: kept in step both ways with QuickBooks
- Deposits and final payments both carried over
- Connected for you during setup

Bill the job
Reporting
You can't tell whether the stair jobs pay. Job profit shows each job's price against material, labor and expenses.
- Money owed: every final balance and how long it's sat
- Job profit: revenue less material, labor and expenses
- Sales tax: each rate's total, ready for the return

Bring them back
Texting & inbox
Homeowners text sample photos while you're on your knees in a hallway. Answer texts, Facebook messages and website chat from the inbox on your phone.
- Missed call: a row on your phone, with text-first in one tap
- Your business number: rings the Android app on the jobsite
- AI front desk: picks up when you're mid-install

Bring them back
Reminders
You drive 30 miles to measure, and nobody's home. Each measure gets a reminder text, and each install one the day before at 3:30 PM.
- Measure booked: a confirmation text right away
- Install moved: the new date goes by text
- On my way: the installer's arrival time

Bring them back
Customer portal
Homeowners call the store to ask when the install is. They log in under your logo to see the date, pay invoices and request work.
- The install date, invoices and shared files under your logo
- Pay by card or ask for the next room from their login

Bring them back
Customer list
A callback comes a year later, and nobody remembers the run number. Each property keeps its past jobs, with the product in a pinned note.
- Pinned note: product, color and run number
- History: every job at the address, and when
- Many properties: a landlord's rentals, each with its floors

Measure, tear-out, install
Three days a flooring job goes sideways
A slow quote, an unpriced subfloor and plank still on backorder.
After the measure
Quoted the night you measure
You install all day, then drive 30 miles to measure a three-bedroom for vinyl plank. You price it Thursday night, and by then they have a big-box quote and two more.
Before you drive out, the homeowner's request shows the rooms, the old floor and the stairs in photos. That night, copy a saved estimate on your laptop and change the square feet. Carpet, vinyl plank and engineered oak go side by side, with stairs and haul-away as add-ons. You see when they open it. A follow-up text goes at 2 days, then a text and email at 5. They sign on their phone, then pay the deposit by card, so the material order goes in.
- Three options: carpet, vinyl plank and oak on one estimate
- Viewed: you know they opened it before you call
- Deposit: the material money, paid right after the yes

Tear-out day
The subfloor fix, signed before it's done
The crew pulls the carpet and finds particleboard under a job priced as a straight install. The homeowner says the fix is on you, and the day is gone.
Price leveling, tear-out, haul-away and stairs as add-ons, so the signed estimate shows exactly which prep they paid for. When the crew finds a soft spot, they photograph it on their phone and you circle it. From the office, you send the plywood as its own estimate. The homeowner signs it on their phone before the crew starts.
- Prep add-ons: leveling, tear-out, haul-away, stairs
- Draw on a photo: the soft spot circled in red
- Extra work: its own estimate, signed on their phone

Backorder
Install dates set when the floor lands
Monday at 7, the installer shows up and the plank is still on backorder. The week slides, and the homeowner calls asking where the crew is.
Sold jobs wait in the schedule-later list until the material is in, then get a date. When a delivery slips, drag the install to another day or another installer. The homeowner is texted the new date, then reminded the day before at 3:30 PM and an hour before. The installer taps On my way, and the ETA goes by text.
- Schedule later: sold jobs parked until the plank arrives
- Drag and drop: another day or another installer
- Texts: the new date, the day-before reminder, On my way

Quote it before the big box calls back
Save your usual jobs as estimates, then copy one and change the square feet. We load your floors and prices during setup.

Why flooring contractors switch
Where the money stops leaking
The free leveling
Leveling is an add-on they sign for, and a surprise subfloor gets its own signed estimate.
The lost install day
Jobs wait for the material in the schedule-later list, so nobody drives to a house with no plank.
The final payment in limbo
The balance, less the deposit, goes with a pay-by-card link, and reminder emails follow if it sits.
Flooring questions, answered straight
What should I look for in flooring business software?
Can homeowners sign a flooring quote on their phone?
Who pays when we find a bad subfloor after tear-out?
How much deposit should I take before I order the material?
Is there an app my installers can use for their schedule and photos?
Does it work with QuickBooks for a flooring business?
